What Indies I'm Reading This Week-Jan.12+
To start with, I'm working on The Tale of Onora: The Girl With The Solar Eyes by Dylan Saccoccio , this one is very Lord of the Rings meets Wheel of Time feeling. I really enjoyed the first book in the series which was The Tale of Onora:The Boy and the Peddler of Death.
I'm reviewing a copy of The Day Human Prince by B. Kristin McMichael from the publisher. This is a spin-off series of The Blue Eyes Trilogy- I just loved. The Day Human series is focusing on Devin now, who was completely raised in the vampire world an trained to be Ari's bodyguard. In the final book of the Blue Eyes book, Devin makes a deal, this is his story.
I'm also planning on doing a re-reading Slightly Stalky: A Romantic Comedy Walks into a Bar by Amy Vansant. Slightly Stalky is a fun light-hearted comedy that's a great 'escape' book. Vansant always makes me laugh with her quirky characters, specially those from Angeli-The Pirate, The Angel and the Irishman.
I bought these awhile ago an really want to get to them as well:
No Ifs, Ands, or Bears About It by Celia Kyle, I'm always hearing great things about this series, so that's been stirring up my curiosity.
Taken By The HunstMan by Mistral Dawn. I just love faeries. They're totally my guilty pleasure and a story all about the Erlking, you best believe I'm gonna be all over that.
I'm planning on finishing these all this week, maybe I wont, maybe I will. Never know;)!
